Sorry for my bad English.
Not one but two "competing"
gas pipelines in the south:
One called SOUTH STREAM, which will be built and operated by ENI and GAZPROM.
And one called NABUCCO, which would make possible alternative sources of energy supply in Europe.
SOUTH STREAM reducing the potential of NABUCCO will also enable Putin to isolate and weaken the Ukraine.
I think it would be more wise and logical step for ECC promote competition.
With North Stream, South Stream and the current gas pipeline to passing through Ukraine ...
... Russia had conducted three to bring his energy to European countries.
Without the European money ... Russia dies a minute later that Europe died without Russian energy.
But Europe was disunited, and there will be three Russian gas pipelines:
This means that Moscow can provide states more friends and other states closed ... avoiding the risk of being left without money.
But be careful ... the Russians are good chess players!
