The coming Watch List and No Fly Lists

As the DeAdLy Jan 6th persecutions begin to go the way the Hutaree BIG G decides to create monsters out of thin air. Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! Well not really, it's more of a self fulfilling prophecy by the prog's. If you are white, Christian, Vote R and believe in the Constitution what could possibly go wrong.......Ruby Ridge and Waco on steroids x1000. Paging Lon Horiuchi.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is now getting ready to hire public companies, individual contractors outside government, to scour public data and social media in order to provide information for the new “domestic terror watch lists.” From the description it appears DHS is going to pay “big tech” (Google, Facebook, *******, Instagram, SnapChat, Twitter, etc.), via contracts, to hire and organize internal monitoring teams to assist the government by sending information on citizens they deem “dangerous.”

I'm no constitutional scholar by no means....but something about this just wants to tell me that it would be against the law...???

I surely hope it would be, I think it's a big breach of invasion of privacy...However I'm sure there's some Executive Order by der leader that may be in effect??

I mean to cast such a wide net. If you have reason to believe there's badness on somebody, then target it, not the whole population...??

Wow..."Show me your papers".....

Time to pull out the OSS 1944 manual, and brush up on knowledge in clogged toilets and uses for super glue. Everyone do your part to stem violence with good paying jobs for plumbers and locksmiths. Come on man.

Its against the law for the gubmint to do shit - private corporations can do things outside of the constitutional reach. Its how twister and fakebroke are allowed to censor freespeech.
If a lawsuit arises - the gubmint will just boot the contractor on legal grounds.
Then the contractor will do like Blackwater and change their name so they can reapply for more contracts.

People, and government they deserve and all that jazz...

Somewhere in the teeny, tiny, ever-so-small print, there is more than likely and neat little clause where it indicates that those companies have the right to do what they want with your information that you just agreed to in order to use their product. Besides that, it's like Box said -- private companies can usually do what they want with your information without it being "criminal". It may be against company policies or regulations in some instances -- if you are a company peon -- but it you are large and in charge, you can do with it what you want with little recourse.

Besides all of that, we are probably already on many of them....

Fun thoughts here... and speaking of "micro print"

You're scrolling through your Gmail inbox and see an email with a strange subject line: A string of numbers followed by "Notification from Google."
It may seem like a phishing scam or an update to Gmail's terms of service. But it could be the only chance you'll have to stop Google from sharing your personal information with authorities.

Such requests are not uncommon for Google. From January 2020 to June 2020, Google received nearly 40,000 requests for user information from law enforcement agencies — more than 15,500 were subpoenas, according to an annual transparency report. Of the subpoenas, Google provided "some data" in 83% of cases. For that same period, Facebook received more than 60,000 requests, producing some data in 88% of cases. Twitter received a little more than 3,000 requests and said it had a 59% compliance rate.
So no biggie... you just have 7 days to get a Federal Judge to issue an order to quash the subpoena.

How hard is that?

not sure this is so far-fetched. JPAS is being replaced by DSSI (? - can't recall the acronym 'cause I'm freaking old and broke). Part of the new digital SF 86 experience to reval or update your clearance is a requirement to list your social media sites.

Additionally, I'm not so sure the government data-mining what YOU put out into the public discourse is against the 4th amendment. Remember, the 4th just prevents "unreasonable" searches and seizures. Looking through what YOU voluntarily put out to the world for public consumption may very-well be deemed
"reasonable" in that you abandoned any expectation of privacy.

For that very reason, and the fact that "They" really ARE out to get me, I don't do social media. As it is, the gummint is already fighting over which re-education camps to put most of us in.

Me? I'm going to rat out Swoop and hope they put me in the "special camp" where I get to eat once a day.

Not limited to social media. For example, anyone can read what is posted on this board.

Precisely. Still, the low-hanging fruit is going to be on Zuckbook and similar. The term "Michigan militia" has a whole new meaning in the last decade. Vacuuming moronic knuckleheads with ease will be a validating proof-of-concept to the American people, via the current propaganda ministry.

This is not a new idea. Anyone remember the Total Information Awareness initiative, and its quick death due to Constitutional over-reach concerns ? I'm pretty sure that didn't die; the Stasi-heads just realized they were transmitting in the clear. It just got re-named as "we're going to support the development of Facebook & then scour the shit out of FB & Twitter and learn everything about everyone."
