Just thinking back on Longrange's post. Yes we did have fun. The best time of my young life. I thoroughly, totally did.
I was on several teams '69 through'72 mostly 224. I was on a S__M team and SGM "Boxi" B___N would not allow me to go on Snake Bite 2 with the guys I wsas assisged to. He said because I was in the Nuclear Surety program. who knows, Blitz

I wuz there also...

Was in 10th for 6 years as a spt guy. Went to Q in 93-94, went to Lewis 95-99 2/1 (Cold weather Bn, no fun trips to the Kingdom, plenty of trips to the land of expensive juicy girls), went to Oki 99-04 , went to SWC 04-08, and finally am a "Desert Eagle"over in 1/3 (definately no more trips to the Kingdom at Gvt expense).

Present

I was on ODA 184 Halo from Aug 84 to Aug 85....short lived trip. Made to go back to Bragg..SWC duty.

My last formation was when CSM..D.T. shot the mans dog at Bn PT formation with a 9mm. I'm sure a few of you have heard of this one.

I want to say thank you for the help from 92 to 95 with the support from your dive locker to ours (3rd Recon Bn, Det Force, 4th Mar Recon, 9th Mar Recon and 3rd Div Recon). Plus some wet jump support too.

longrange 1947,

I was looking at your picture and it appears you are in Hawthorne, Nevada. I can tell by the disruption of the sand in front of your feet (Combat Tracker) that you are working with a group of about 7 to 8 men. It appears that one is from WV and that the rest are seasoned sniper instructors. I can also tell by the angle of the camera shot that this picture was taken by a very good looking man with a big nose. Has anyone ever told you "You look like Sam Elliot"?

Take Care
