Even More Clinton Coruption, it never ends

Should be a law, you plead the 5th while working for the gov or gov contractor you lose everything, job, contract, pension.

When the shooting starts these are the folks you'll be looking for, the ones that destroyed this nation.

State Department aide pleads the Fifth more than 90 times
By Sarah Westwood
·Published October 24, 2016

A former State Department IT aide invoked his Fifth Amendment rights and refused to answer more than 90 questions Monday during the final deposition in a lawsuit over Hillary Clinton's private emails.

John Bentel, former Director of Information Resource Management of the executive secretariat, would not answer questions about whether the Clintons had paid his legal fees or offered him financial incentives, according to Judicial Watch, the conservative-leaning group that brought the suit.

A federal judge in August ordered Bentel to testify under oath because "the record in this case appears to contradict his sworn testimony before the Benghazi Committee."

Bentel told the House Select Committee on Benghazi in June 2015 that he had no knowledge of Clinton's private email server.

Agreed - I see it akin to refusing blood alcohol content testing.

In my opinion it is a slippery slope to auto-punish someone, government employee or not, who exercises a Constitutionally protected right just because we disagree with their actions/politics. Imagine the inverse with us and the 2A, or many other plausible scenarios the Left could dream up to criminalize the Bill of Rights.

Ex post facto.

However, it does seem reasonable to have government employees sign, as part of an employment agreement, a contract that they will truthfully testify about all matters pertaining to their service.
A stipulation in that contractual agreement would be that they forfeit their pension and are no longer eligible for future government service.

NDAs and implied consent for breathalyzer/driver's lincense come to mind.
But, the rules shouldn't be changed after the fact.

It is not of great concern the single action of one, but the collective corridinated actions of many. In our current state of affairs, treason, for what it is, is not a silent plausibly denialable action of choice. Treason has become overt. As a friend put it, Treason now walks our streets with a swagger.

The individuals are just a distraction, the root cause which lead to this is the greatest threat to our nation. There is no justice anymore and the checks of the system have fallen. Due to this, we see what we see now. I honestly do not know if there is recovery. From what we know of many civilizations before us our path is very common and our future is on a repeated and time tested plane. To recover to the blessings of our nations geniune birth principles would be against everything we know has always happened.

I suspect that of even the small sample of the individuals we all speak with on a daily basis, that the treasonous traits of our most corrupt leaders are well known and not of the shadows of the fringe. Because of this it is now a question of how much tolerance will the people of this country put up with. It appears the first actions of that modern revoluton, which it will be, but not as Lexington and concord, shall be the force and power of information warfare. If we lose control of information we will lose the war of all principles we hold dear. These small hacking instances are quite presumably just the beginning of far greater actions for those with such awareness and capability.

We have many people that see the problems and acknowledge it. The dark side is that in the past most of the people that have attempted or taken action to mass shootings and even presidential assassination have always been strong leftists. Those instances were before information was as controlled and in mass as it is today. There likely is going to be further shift in that true believers, such as the hardcore progressives, will eventually lead to violence or largely corridinated political terrorism. Bernie Sanders supporters marching with hammer and sickle flags was a fascinating look at the direction our politics have fallen. True believers are among us in a way the 1950s red scare could have never fathomed. This is why I do not think it will be the right that starts or does the worst nightmares first, it will be the left. Think of how far few of our nation even supported the revolution when information travel was rare. Now multiply that by millions.

Keep in mind that our chaos and weakness of control to our own issues makes us as a nation very vulnerable to divisive instigation via proxy or clandestine action from others. Dictators of other nations must be pleased with our turmoils and plan accordingly for lesser known cyber actions for posturing for greater force of strategy whenever their big moment should come. I believe we are dangerously near. The recon is wildly active.

The best we can do is vote and be patient and conclusive when speaking our voice. If you or anyone who can step up to the political plate for office, encourage it at every chance. The last thing we need is to become everything the propaganda of our politics claims us to be. Repair the system, not fix the people. The system is the result of our own creations, to put it in a proper state, the people will lead. That also would include ensuring a fair vote. Without that the system obviously fails.

Stay frosty.

My intellect is not that grand so it will be hard to follow such eloquent words that 35NCO has put forth. All I would like to point out is that IMO he paints a very clear picture of what is happening and good advice on how to proceed.

I feel that violence is on the way, and most likely from the left as I feel us right steppers have more patience for the system. I think we are all hoping and waiting for some sign that our country will reverse its path. Sadly, history is against us in that regards, Rome, Sparta, and even Great Britain are things of the past as far as superpowers and empires are concerned. I never saw our country as an empire but we were damn sure a superpower!

As someone on this sight once said (TS if memory serves), "keep buying more ammo"

Based on the antics places like Ferguson and during the election I have been thinking for quite awhile that no matter who wins we will see violence. If Trumps wins there will be people in the streets immediately, and if Hillary wins it is only a matter of time before conservatives are labeled and become a hunted species.
