Housing in Ft. Carson Area

I PCS to 10th Group at the end of September and have been looking for houses to rent for several weeks now and have not come up with to much. I used the search feature to look up other inquiries similar to mine and found only one from 2008 and 2011 with very little info. I guess I am just looking to be steered in the right direction. I am looking in Fountain, Monument, and Pueblo West for homes in the E6 BAH range. Any recommendations at all from you gentlemen who have been in the area would be greatly appreciated. This is usually my wife's job but surprisingly enough she is currently busier than me.

I have moved to Broomfield, CO. to attend school. But I do know some realtors and areas for both houses and apartments depending on your choice. I also PMd as well.

Cheers!

Is anyone out around Falcon or Peyton? Looking at going that direction next year if we go to Carson.

I lived close to Falcon when at the Springs. One thing to consider is that Falcon has a high water rate. I had friends living there and that was a major disadvantage.

Peyton is really nice land and huge horse country. If that is what your looking for it is really nice. I'll have to see who I know that is still there.

Cheers!

Thanks! Looking primarily in that direction if we do move. Fires, floods, and HOA's are to be avoided if at all possible. Plus, being originally from the next state up, I have no problem with the plains.

Realtor

Headed to Carson in FEB, looking for a realtor. If anyone here has a realtor that they have personally dealt with and would recommend them would be appreciated. Thanks
