V42 Commander Pen

Spartan Blades has released their tacticool Pen. The V42 Commander Pen is a twister (better for old guys who lose caps). Although it really does look like a V42, when you pull this pen out in polite company the sheeple won't freak out (and in fact will probably like it). Since I ordered mine already, I have decided to let all you lesser individuals in on the secret (Mark and Curt being too modest). Check them out on the website, they're available in Black or earth tone.

I had the opportunity to play with one at the Eugene knife show this past weekend. As with all of Spartan's products this pen is top notch. The twist mechanism is probably the nicest one I have ever used on a pen in that price range. Fit and finish are perfect as can be expected. If I hadn't bought a Spartan/Harsey and another custom folder at the show I more than likely would have walked out with a pen as well.

I was fortunate enough to see the pen develop and can't wait to see the final version ... have had a little experience with pens over the past 4 years!!!:

... but from what I have been told, the clip is SPECTACULAR!!!

I could not afford one... I want one. My budget in Eugene was exhausted getting Spartan/Harsey #061... finally... Mark and Curt thanks for hanging on to it. Mark, Curt and Bill... stellar job on the knife.

Just under 1/2" at largest dia in tapered shaft. It will fit most pen pockets, but some acus for example are poor tolerances, so not all.
