Good luck Chili. My favorite 7 years in the Army was as an 18D, I'm sure you'll feel the same. My advice is don't relax until you graduate, and then continue not relaxing!

Good luck Chili! Have fun at the school house. Best part of SOCM so far is well...none of it. But it's been awesome learning everything we have so far. Lots to go, but I can't wait for the torture to continue.

I'm happy to report that my son was selected. No word yet on which language or group. Thanks to Warrior-Mentor for his excellent book--it made a difference.

Humbled
Selected in Class 08-16. 18A/Language TBD. I came away completely humbled knowing I have a LOT of work to do and that the journey is just beginning. Thanks for all the wisdom those in the community have provided via this website and other outlets.

Blessed to have succeeded
I Just completed SFAS class 02-17 about a week ago and was selected. The journey up until that point was a definite struggle, leaving no room for error, making sure academically and physically I was prepared. The information here on this site and by the quiet professionals have been invaluable and I just wanna say thank you to all who dedicate the time, knowledge, and effort to keeping the flow of information alive and current. I can't wait to start the Q course and move on to bigger and better things.

Congrats and this is just the first step. Focus on the 25m target during training so you can keep moving forward. You will be tested and measured every day. Not everyone walks across the stage and I no a team room. Stay focused and good luck....

I was also in class 04-17 and was selected for 18B. Just want to thank everyone for the input they've shared on these posts over the years which helped me prepare properly.
