MSG Dick Smoot, 2/19, RIP

MSG Smoot passed away as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was quite the mentor for a lot of folks, and I will always remember his lessons and insights. RIP.

Smoot

He was my TS on the dive team. One of the oldest guys to graduate CDQC. He will be missed.

RIP Dick Smoot.

During OEF I, the owner of one of the baddest SF war beards ever (and world class Afghan beaded cornrows hidden under a desert floppy). Pretty bad ass for a WV hillbilly. I'm proud to have known you, served with you, and called you a friend. See you at the RP.
