Three more years of sweet liberal tears

Here we are… a year into the liberal meltdown that IS the Donald J. Trump administration – still fretting over collusion with Russia. Just for a little bit of balance, let’s take a look at the first year with Obama:

By the end of March, Obama was already embroiled in his own scandal over Russia.
Oh – wait – you probably forgot about that - well, I’ll remind you:
In early March of his first term, Russia let slip that it was considering an offer made by Obama during his second moth in office that Obama would take steps to soften US missile defense in Europe in exchange for Russian assistance with Iran.
…yep, Obama “colluded” with the Russians to weaken our European allies so that we could make nice with Iran. Obama denied such an offer was made – but it was later proven that he DID send such a letter - he hand delivered it !!!
Of course that isn’t in the liberal history books – because socialist amercians cant be guilty of Russian collusion.
-Later that same month, Obama released his warm and fuzzy video making nice with the iranians using the Iranian New Year celebration as his platform.

Then, just like clockwork, the NORKs launched some satellites for missile testing as a “fuck you” to the new US president. You might ask, what was chairman obamas response to this act of NORK aggression?
…funny you should ask – Obamas solution to an increasingly threating posture of the NORKS seeking nuclear capability: "We can't reduce the threat of a nuclear weapon going off unless those that possess the most nuclear weapons, the United States and Russia serious steps to reduce our stockpiles, So we want to pursue that vigorously in the years ahead."
So, Obama wanted to deal with NORK aggression by seeking to disarm the USA as an example.

In April, Obama insured Turkey that the US was not at odds with Islam, and that we would be surrendering or efforts in iraq.
Sorry…. I meant “ending” our efforts in Iraq.
He then spends the rest of the year shaking hands with Hugo Chavez, apologizing for america, and bowing to anyone that would stand still for him.

…big news story on the networks broke when Obama decided to buy a Portuguese Water Dog. All of the usual suspects carried stories about “Bo” the new white house dog.
Oddly, the liberal activist chose not to get a rescue dog to show his compassion.

Ah the sweet sweet liberals tears that have flowed so richly this year - I put a few drops in my coffee every morning just to put a smile on my face !!!!

LOL...Silly Boy, didn't you know that the Dimocrats (Leftards) are oh so special in this land of ours? (Yea, sort of like special helmet wearing short busers). And the Rebumkins (Evil, Evil Despicable People) who voted for "The Donald" are considered to be "the Plague" of this fine country? Ha....seriously, the Left have really jumped over that cliff, too bad the "sweet Liberals" (Sore Losers) don't drown in those fake tears they spread about..

Seven more years of schadenfreude?

IMO, Trump is going to be re-elected. A critical mass of his supporters will continue to celebrate his ability to tweak the noses of establishment. His opposition in the Republican party will remain unable to grasp the obvious strategy for legitimate opposition. His opponents on the left have seized the role that Republicans played too well during Mr. Obama's two terms: the Party of No.

If nothing else, President Trump will be consistent. He will keep fueling the widespread anger so that voters won't spend too much time evaluating how well he's done what he said "only" he could do.

When it is all over, he will have accomplished the goal that I believe he's had in mind the whole time: the destruction of conservatism as a viable force in twenty first century American politics. Not for nothing did one observer tell us "Look for the narcissist."

During my time here, Roguish Lawyer and I have agreed on exactly three things. The danger that Trump poses to American political life is the third. We take delight in the agony of our fellow citizens. We attribute everything that is wrong in America today to their political views and policy preferences. Yet, when unimaginable catastrophe visited red states, who, without a moment's hesitation, led the effort to raise private funds for relief and reconstruction?

Seven years from now, we're going to be fewer, older, poorer, and less educated than our opposition. If they decide to give as they have gotten, how will we fare?

Sigaba,

I agree to an extent. I believe that as there is further polarization (encouraged by MSM and sought out by politicians) a larger percentage of the American people will give up on the system and disengage. The result of this distillation process is what you describe in 7 years time.

There is and has been quite a bit of nose tweaking going on, by a host of parties, across the entire spectrum of society, politics, organizations and businesses, and it has been happening far longer than Trump has been in the spot light. A large reason as to why Trump won the election is because of the nose tweaking and rub it in your face tactics that occurred during the previous 8 years of the Obama Administration.

HRC, Bernie, Jeb, Cruz, Biden, etc would all have furnished their own kind of nose tweaking. Whether their brand of fire starting was palatable or not would have been determined by your Brand of preference.

7 years from now will be interesting, but I have my doubts the opposition will be better educated, but they may have a higher degree of indoctrination.
