Introduction: TravDiesel
Good evening Sirs,
I am 31 years young, have 4 children and have no military experience. I have 10 years of EMS experience (Field (3 Years) and ER (7.25 years)). I want nothing more than, getting the opportunity to Enlist in the United States Army with a 68W contract (18X, Rep 63, option 4, or Option 40) and will do whatever is necessary. I have been through EMT school 2 times (Passed once), taking EMT again (currently), 1st year or RN school and have 90+ units of college but still feel like I can learn ALOT more. Thank you for this opportunity to join this forum and I look forward to everything this site has to offer.
Best Regards, Trav

26 years old and preparing for MEPs with hopes of getting an 18x contract. Spent most of my early life in military housing surrounded by personnel (Father served in the Navy for 21 as GM), now I would like to serve my country as well. I have been skulking the boards here for a little over a month before I created an account, just trying to absorb as much as possible from the discussions here. I don't like to talk about myself much so I hope this is intro will suffice.

CBanks Introduction
20 years old, 15U in the ARNG; using my time deployed to train for selection. Registered to be a fly on the wall in a feeble attempt to G2 the course.

Hello and thank you!
I have been a National Guardsman for the past 11 years. Now at the age of 28 and with a small family - myself, wife, and son. I have decided that I wanted to do more and to give more. I have been reading, studying, and learning as much as I can on this forum and from the advice given by the QP's.
Thank you for having me on this forum and thank you for the knowledge and experiences shared.

Introduction
My name is Sean and I am a junior in high school. I joined this board to learn about SF and how to better prepare myself for selection. After HS I plan on 2 years of Community College then join the Army with an 18x contract. Thanks in advance for any help/ guidance I receive and the wealth of knowledge that I now have access to.

New Recruit 18X
Gentlemen-
I just wanted to introduce myself briefly. I am an 18x recruit from CT shipping to Ft.Benning on 150804 for OSUT and Jump School. Med cleared & swore in 2 days ago.
Really looking forward to having the opportunity to join the teams. I decided not to go my intended path of OCS - and dedided to saddle up for 18X. I will be graduating OSUT as an E4 Specialist (I have a degree obviously)
I am 26 years old and I am leaving a six figure job at Siemens here in CT. Honestly I think I finally figured out what I really hoped to do in life - and this is it.
I'll be getting married right before I ship - so hopefully my soon to be wife will be welcomed into the community with open arms if I get selected and make it through the Q-Course.
Some stats
APFT - 300
GT - 128
ASVAB - 88
That's all Gentlemen.

Hey everyone!
Hi y'all, my names Thomas. I'm 18 years old and a current senior in high school. I play soccer for my school and competitively. I'll be attending UCLA this year under an Army ROTC scholarship. My hope is to eventually become a doctor, but SF I has been a huge goal of mine from a young age. I've come here to seek some of your wisdom, as the extent of my knowledge of the military has come from my brother and sister who were also in ROTC, and are now commissioning. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey, this thing works. MSG (RET) Kim Breed is up and running. Well, walking kinda fast anyways. Spent early 80's in 10th SFGA and then was permanently assigned to 5th group. 5th group kept sand packed in my crack since we moved to FT. Campbell as a unit in 88. long deployments that they said only 30 days, dry countries, and no R&R. Had a great time and wound not change places. Now I Make custom knives daily and help run Rattlesnake range to keep my shooting skills honed to at least semi-sharp, hehheh.
Really like the attitude on this site. Just might have to make camp and put out the claymore mines

Intro
Good afternoon. I am a Civil Affairs Specialist (38B), and an Intel Analyst (35F). I stumbled across this site about a month ago while looking for info on a fallen friend. I think it is great that this site exists. It is the most professional site that I have come across. I wish I had know about it sooner. Anyway... l am just here to read and learn. Hopefully I have something to contribute in exchange. Thank you for the opportunity.

Hello All,
I'm Shan, I'm 21 and live in the Northern end of Southern Cal. I've been on the board for nearly a year and have kept myself to reading the threads before posting an intro. I'm currently in school still, but I have lost the weight and hopefully visiting my recruiter again to enlist in the Navy and hopefully leaving for RTC in August or September (I know this is a predominately Army SF forum lol.) Thanks for having me.

hello
My name is Anthony. I was in the Aust Army for 20 years RAEME as an Electronic technician. I am still interested in military things. I found this forum by following the link about the professional soldier knife by Chris Reeve and Bill.
It is an interesting forum so decided to join.
Thanks

here to learn
I'm 22 and hoping to be able to be able to get a marine corps enlistment contract in summer/fall of 2016. I want to do three years there and transfer to the army, and put another couple of years for training in before dropping an SF packet. I'm here to learn, so if i do comment at all, i'll make sure they're educated and as infrequent as possible. Much Respect to all the QPs for their service, and the site team for maintaining such a great learning tool, which i've been observing for several years.
