Gawker "OWNED" by Mr. Trump
Every day I like this guy more and more.
TRUMP OUTWITS GAWKER: TURNS CELL PHONE NUMBER INTO FREE CAMPAIGN AD by JOHN NOLTE4 Aug 2015
In yet another savvy move that helps to explain his growing appeal, Donald Trump turned what was supposed to be a public humiliation handed to him by the left-wing nihilists at Gawker, into yet-another triumph against the media.
Monday Gawker got a hold of and published the billionaire businessman’s cell phone number.

The guy could very well be the worst president in the history of mankind. It is quite possible that his celebrity-sized ego could end up causing a war that turns the globe into a less livable place than Pluto.
...but isn't it refreshing to see somebody that is unafraid to tell the media to suck it?
We all have to die sometime, and with the way "real" politicians have been fucking American in the ass over the last 40 years, Armageddon is worth the risk if only for the entertainment value.
...as long as trump don't drive his car off a bridge with a campaign staffer inside, who knows how far he can take this sideshow of his.
In fact, if Ted Kennedy had Trump as an advisor, he probably could have made it look like the whole thing was Mary Joe's fault!!!!
Hell, the last six years have turned the White House into reality TV, why stop now?

Dadgum it. Now it hit me what Presidential campaigns feel like, reality TV!
It's dancing with the stars and we get to score the participants.
Then we get to sit back, give them money and watch them do whatever they want.

Billy - I know the talking heads and the political pundits discount Donald Trump as a side show, but I am beginning to think they are wrong. He is so out of the box that they can't calibrate him.
He was asked if he would run a 3rd Party campaign ala Ross Perot. His reply, as long as I am treated fairly by the RNC - no. That shows me he is thinking beyond the nomination and he just threw down the gauntlet to the RNC. They are now in a box because the last thing they need is DT siphoning off votes as a 3rd party candidate in the general election.
He has also dismissed some staffers that screwed up. I also see him adapting in some subtle ways. I think he is serious.
I also think it will be refreshing to have a President that speaks his mind bluntly and clearly. It takes a great deal of diplomacy to succeed in business so obviously when it's necessary he can be diplomatic or has someone on the team that is (i.e. good cop/bad cop strategy).
Nope, I am thinking he is for real and I for one am liking it. I think we need to turn the status quo on its ear and Trump looks like the one to do it.
Now if we can just rid the Congress critters of those damned career politicians.

I like the awareness to develop the situation beyond wrestling in the mud, or complaining about someone having offended someone's sensibilities. He is not operating by the "script."

The bottom line is that Trump is displaying something sorely lacking in the current Republican field: competence when it comes to handling a hostile, left-wing media.
|
The more this happens, the more I actually pay attention to him. I did not like him at all as a candidate before. Now I will pay attention.

The political establishment, both sides of the aisle, seem to think Trump speaking his mind openly means he is stupid. The establishment is making a mistake doing this, Trump has not become as successful as he is by being stupid.

I believe that Trump is displaying the entrepreneurial spirit that forge through adversity to make America great....where as most of his competition are mere workers, managers and thieves who simply goes with the flow and/or steal from hard work of others.

I'd like to see Gawker's employees' response if their personal contact information was publicly distributed.

Liberals (both the republican and democrat varieties) are terrified of what he's doing.
He's showing that people don't need to be afraid of the politically-correct shaming machine.
Looking forward to a Drudge Report headline that reads:
TRUMP BITCH-SLAPS LIBERAL MEDIA AGAIN!
