We could make a couple simple requirements before opening our borders to Middle Eastern refugees and see how things go:
1) Open the borders of Mecca and Medina to Christian immigrants - perhaps make a refugee area for Coptic (Egyptian) Christians in each of these 2 cities. Tolerance should be a 2-way street.
2) No attacks carried out in the name of Allah or Islam against Israeli/Western/European cities, citizens or targets for a full calendar year. The calendar would begin only after Item 1 has been satisfied.
