Freedom of Speech isn't for everyone

While Roger Goodall recognizes Colon and the Seahawks right to balk on the National Anthem, the NFL cracks down on another player who wishes to show respect.

The NFL has officially banned Tennessee Titans linebacker Avery Williamson from wearing cleats custom made as a memorial to the victims and first responders who fell in the line of duty during that terrible day on 9/11.

Good for Goodall. He is a tool and clown of the highest order!

I would also like for him to know that I think he is a weak, cowardly, useless human being!

Personally, I wouldn't mind if the entire NFL disappeared tonight.

It disappeared from my home about 25 year ago. I am at the point where I would like to see the NFL go out of business.

And take the NBA with them.

MLB isn't far away from that either.

Overpaid assholes with no ethics or honor.

Truthfully, I am about done with professional sports anyways. They are all becoming "Thugs-R-Us".

If college gets much worse, I will do away with them as well.

Well, there is always HS sports while it lasts.

For me, the only sport I partake in is my daughter playing soccer. College and Pro sports don't get a penny from me.

In its denial the NFL reminded Williamson that all teams must be uniform on the field and no single player may wear unauthorized gear or sport special decorations upon that gear. The ban is usually aimed at keeping unauthorized financial sponsorships from appearing on field.

This isn’t the first time the NFL has denied a player’s request to honor police or first responders, even as other players are permitted to indulge protests against the U.S.A. and support for Black Lives Matter.

Only last month the NFL refused to allow the Dallas Cowboys to wear decals on their helmets showing support for the Dallas Police Department, which lost five officers in one terrible attack in July.
Interesting how their "stance" seems to conflict with crap like the attached image.

Breast cancer charities must have some serious denero to "sponsor" the NFL's approval for their pink bullshit.

Personally, i think every SM should do everything they can to get on the field in uniform during the national anthem and promptly upon completion, break out a pair of knuckle dusters and go fucking wholesale on these overpaid, underskilled, social justice opportunists.

Screw them, and screw the NFL.

I will not be watching football this year, especially after noticing the obvious double standard.

As I always say..........the "divider in chief" strikes again.
