Black Lives Matter will never acknowledge this for the simple reason it has absolutely nothing to do with the reason this organization exists. The true value of black lives, as human life, was never BLM's raison d'etre.
Black Lives Matter is dedicated to disrupting America's status quo. The group's founders are socialist activists who know that you must destroy the current system in order for your alternative system to be seen as viable. That's all folks. Only the black lives taken by government sanctioned violence (police shootings) matter in furthering that agenda.
Not one kneeling, low-IQ NFL (or white female soccer) player understands this. Sometimes useful idiots are millionaires.

All of them need to get off their asses and go visit a country or two where there's real poverty and real government sponsored brutality. Then once their eyes are opened they can kneel, kiss the flag and thank God they are Americans.

Support for Nate, disappointed the Seahawks didn't keep him. I know that he's supposedly spoken with someone from the team, perhaps even Baldwin himself and says this stunt is going to be respectful but, nonetheless leave politics and social justice issues out of professional sports.
I'm sure the SPD and WSP will "feel" all warm and fuzzy knowing that a couple/few spoiled millionaire children feel entitled enough with their freedoms and public personalities to disrespect their profession (for +/- $65k/yr). I mean, I'm certain that when a Seahawk player rolls his $80,000 Denali GMC after hitting another car and then running away from it all that he's treated exactly the same as any other person under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Right?

Alls I can say is IF the Seahawks do something to disrespect the sacrifices made by those in a uniform other than a nationally recognized sports team...
They are going to save me a ton of money on my cable bill.
I hope the team, the coach, and the team captain (Wlison) recognize before Sunday's demonstration of 'team unity' that not everyone agrees with the individual choices a few are willing to make. Maybe they should look to Turkey for enlightenment of what treason and a failed coup look like.
I can only hope for those who stay (in the stadium) that the sound of crickets resonates well with their first game.
