How hard is it to get specialized training and schools? Who get's the real world missions? Is there a sf mos where scuba is a part of the sf pipeline or do you have to apply for it later? The thing i don't want the most (because i just spent almost four years dealling with it) is to be motivated and in shape and not be able to go to schools and get the training. I want people to see my potential and help cultivate and mold it. Any information you could provide would help a great deal in making an educated decision for me and my family. Thank you.
Please take the time to read the stickies at the top of the pages, and the welcome stickies.

You may get more replies if you fill in your profile.

We are also not likely to start a SF vs. SEAL thread here. Plenty of other places on the net for that. It would help if you would do some basic research as requested in multiple stickies and focus your questions a bit to identify issues which are not easily researched or found in a recruiting pamphlet.

Good luck.
