My New First Line
This is what I'm running right now
DBT Belt
DBT 3 Mag Pouch
MaxEpedition Dump Pouch
CDS pouch for my PS Leatherman and Surefire G2Z
HSGI holster on a CDS hanger
Need a better hangar - on the way
The jury is still out on the holster. I don't have it quite to my liking yet, it moves around. But it's new, so I'm going to keep working on it.
The belt is GTG, very good for the back. It slips a little on a flightsuit, but not too bad.
All in all I'm pleased. The search continues.

The slide looks like a Glock, but I don't believe that Glocks have the two circular grip thingys on the handle.
That was a technical term, BTW . . .

Good looking 1st Line. You were right; that is an ugly hanger. Help is on the way though. Left today sooo with your mail system it should be there by Christmas.
And yes I labeled it right the first time, this time.

Aaaah, I thought it looked a little big. I just recall you mentioning something about a 19.

OK, I googled for Glock 17 images and I see some with the grip thingys and some without. I have one, and mine doesn't have them.
That's what I get for assuming . . .

I have a 19, the 17 is my work gun.
RL, the grip things appear to be generational. I don't really care one way or another. I usually put a couple of strips of bicycle inner tube on them anyway. In fact, I'm putting the tubes on that gun tomorrow.
Crip,
It happened just like I said, that hanger didn't last a half day at the range. That is some of the problem I am having with the holster. Many thanks again.
All in all I like it. I really like the belt. It feels more solid and doesn't cut like a regular duty belt. You gotta be careful though, you can hang too much crap off of it and turn your first line into a lineman for the county tool belt.
I like to keep it down to the bare minimum. That way when I reach for a gun or mag, I know I'm getting what I wanted.

Why do you use the tubes? Prevent slippage? Cushion recoil? Better fit for big hands?

Fills the palms better. It also gives me an index to make sure I have my hands high on the grip. I wear gloves, so slipping isn't a problem.
Cushion recoil? On a handgun? LOL Sarge, that MFer don't recoil, it flicks!
