standard for magnaflux testing on NS WPNS

Does anyone know what the Army standard is for how often Foreign & Non Standard Weapons have to be magnaflux tested?

Thank you in advance.

It is my understanding that MIL-STD 331 covers this in general. However I am unaware of a specific time frame that the Army gives that supercedes MIL-STD. Hope this helps.

Thank You

I found one standard that states 18 months. Trying to determine whether that is a unit SOP or standard and will check the reference you provided.

Thank you for the assist!

Contact the Joint Armaments Facility at SWCS. They are the "keeper of the knowlege". The standard should be related to rounds fired but I'm betting it's by time instead. Foreign weapons are a Royal PITA and getting round counts/decent records keeping for anything besides inventory is a hopeless pipe dream.

The USASOC standard is 18 months for non-standard foreign weapons not procured through the (Focal Point) program.

You either have to contact the JAF or send them directly to BGAD.

It is a possibility to arrange a contact mission from BGAD too. They have a mobile magna-flux capability. I have a good friend working at the armament section there and they wouldn't mind the TDY at all.
