Ya, woodn't git much protene outa the little suckers..

And the flavor is ??? different. they eat mostly Black & Red Mangrove and Buttonwood, which is very high in tannin and salt.

Thanks for the heads-up, abc. I was going to ask about dive shops in the vicinity. I am on an email list from "Cap't Hooks" in Marathon (met the guy at a dive show in Long Beach last year), but appreciate first hand info. I'll always steer business to a quality operation, esp. one run by a QP.

No problem. JJ steered us their way. IIRC the owner said he was former 5th and I think 7th. Before my brief time at 7th.

Had a small shop. He was very friendly and the boat driver and divemaster (actually, snorklemaster) for my family was very friendly and good with my boys.

JJ, you need to tell them to get in with the MWR folks on NAS, KY so that they get on the "recommended" llist.
