10th group also.
However, I must point out the voting itself will probably be a bit tilted towards the original groups (5th, 7th and 10th) as there are alot of the members here that were around before there were 1st or 3rd.

I am now to the point were I consider myself a F.O.G. (F*cking Old Guy). I get reminders everytime the weather gets cold and I climb out of bed. I remember when they cut our team by 50% to send guys out to the newly formed 1st Group. Couple years later, after the stripes came off our flash 3/5th became 1/3rd. But at that time I had moved on to 10th.

10th...at Devens. From there to Scan., Europe and the Mideast. But it was always nice to come home. The CSM had a handlebar mustache almost long enough to cover all of his SF years, and rucksacking under Rte. 2 provided views of MCI Shirley and the Quaker buildings few others were able to enjoy.

As I only served with the 8th SFG, I had to vote other. Here's a pic of me in front of the Co B 8th SFG sign. I had just returned from a parade and a buddy of mine took this pic.

I started in 3/5th (ODA 593). We eventually became 1/3rd (ODA 333). I count
3rd GRP as home since this is were, as Toney's Rangers, we the "bastard stepchildren" fought and endured the bad ol days. We were on a shoe string budget and had to resort to alott of creative writing and new math to function. Our engineers took lots of inspirations from the character "Peterson" to scrounge and or "liberate" many things and when we wern't stealing the newly re-constituted 3/5th budget or ammunition, we were busy inventing new ways for the air force to fly us, on their dime, to places like Donna Ana, FT Bliss, Ft Huachuca, White Sands and DA in the Desert....jd
