When I was in jump school ( summer of '68 ) the black hats very seldom failed to finish a sentence,command or butt chewing without this one:
STAY ALERT..... STAY ALIVE!!!
Not to mention the signs and banners all over reinforcing that.
Ugh.... one more, yet localized.
