Question Ballistic Facemasks

Just a quick question about these.

Were these ever issued/purchased and used?

All that armor just breeds cowardice.

That's an interesting though I really hadn't considered.

I remember learning somewhere that while the helmet marginally protects from shrapnel and pistol rounds, the benefit truly comes from the feeling of being protected.

Do you feel there is a tipping point where self-preservation and belief in equipment, outweigh the 'killer' instinct?

If you wear a mask, how are the bad guys going to get scared when one of our guys makes his war face?

I apologize if that came across as a smart ass question, but that was an honest one. Completely didn't mean to strike a nerve like that, I just found what Max_tab said to be very interesting. Maybe interpreted what Max said wrong so again, don't mean to step on toes was just an interesting thought about technology.

Maybe they should just issue Pelosi masks! or Evie Hudak masks!

I've seen some women who back up a mule or turn a locomotive off its track, but those two would turn bullets.

Are you referring to RedLeg's appology or MR2's Polosi comment?
