6th Group brother-in-law

After spending many hours perusing the forum, I remembered that my first wife's brother was SF. I got out some old pictures and found one of my X, her brother, and I from when he drove up from Bragg for her high school graduation. Sure as hell, there he was in khakis, boots bloused, with green beret w/flash. I had to get out the jewelers loop to ID the flash, but it is a 6th Group flash with what appears to be the De Oppresso pin over it. The rank patch on his sleeve was pretty easy to see (Spc5). The picture is dated Jun 68, which makes sense for 6th Group. Paul was a pretty good guy. When our car broke down on the way to Ft. Wolters, TX, after we got married, Paul came down and gave us his VW so we could make it the rest of the way.

I guess this is what happens when you are retired and have too much time on your hands. I almost have enough squirrels for a meal.
