1 flank steak (about 1 pound), trimmed well
Marinade:
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp honey
2 tsp sesame oil
1 clove garlic, minced well
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp crushed hot red pepper flakes
Combine marinade ingredients and mix well.
Reserve 1/4 cup marinade for basting.
Put steak in dish and marinate for 30 minutes, turning once.
Grill the steak, basting with reserve marinade.
Serve with green vegetable, starch and beer or pinot noir.
