LTC Charles "Chad" Buehring

I know several members of this board knew him. LTC B was KIA two years ago today during the attack on the Al Rashid hotel.
RIP Sir, you will not be forgotten.

I worked with LTC B in DOTD right before he deployed overseas.

His passing was a surprise and a shame.

RIP. You are not forgotten.

A good man that took care of his men and loved to laugh. He is gone but never forgotten by those that knew him. The good die young.

RIP Sir,

That is our policy.” You ask; What is our aim? I can answer with one word: Victory—victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival.-Winston Churchill

Its been four years.
I saw a picture in stars and stripes a little while ago where a soldier in Kuwait took a picture of the plaque dedicating the camp there to you. The caption said something about him wondering how the post got its name and then going out and finding the plaque. Too bad he couldnt have gotten to know you as we did.
Rest in peace Sir, we have not forgotten you.
