Hello my name is Dan, I am new to this site, thank you for allowing me the oppurtunity to learn from you guys. I am a civilian as of now, but when I turn 18 in September I will be signing up with an 18X contract. I have already taken ASVAb and done the physicals , Just can't sign the dotted line. Until then I will be lurking, maybe asking a few q's if that is alright with you men.

Tom
Signed up today after looking around a bit at the videos.
I'm a PFC deployed to Iraq right now working as a mental health specialist. My duty station is Ft. Bragg and since receiving a recruiter brief when I got to replacement, I've considered joining SF. I am currently working on my PT scores here during my free time. Unfortunately, there's not many pools to swim in. har Har

There's a tiny little stream by the hajji mall with human feces floating around in it. As much as I'd like to work on my swimming, I better not risk getting shot outside the wall or get dysentery.
As for my MOS, well... I won't get defensive about it, there's certainly a stigma but I enjoy it, but not too challenging. There's only four active duty combat stress control teams in the whole Army and this one is deployed the most.
It certainly is easy to get lazy in this MOS, but I try to keep my soldiering skills maintained when I can. Basic training at Benning definitely brainwashed me that all soldiers are riflemen first.
I look forward to lurking for advice on my pre-SFAS train up and have ordered Warrior-Mentor's book.
Thanks for the OPSEC update, I'll keep that in mind for future posts.

Signed up a few days ago but am now posting intro for first time. Ive been active duty Air Force for 5 years and am ready for a career change. To tell the truth, I don't even know why I even joined the Air Force, I have always felt Army. I hope to go through the "Blue-To-Green" program and possibly go Ranger before SF, I feel I need alot of "catching up" before I apply myself to SF. Hope to gain alot of insight from everyone here. Cheers.

I figured I'd rack up a bunch of posts before doing an intro...
Most here have heard my story.
If you haven't, check out www.warrior-mentor.com
