Hmmm ...
... some one has been a busy little beaver and now several of the sites listed in my post above have gone 404, page not found. Interesting.
But, for example, if you click on the Portland City Club web site, while you will get a "Page not found," do a search in the search box for Hillar:
http://pdxcityclub.org/content/why-h...ll-bill-hillar
He's still there in several guises. At least until someone removes those pages as well.
And if you will go to the home page for the North West Conference Against Trafficking:
http://nwcat.org/
it still pays a short video as a part of the opening, with "COL Hillar" featured.

Lots of websites that picked up and published his Bio.

Glanced at his site.
Half his surface stuff is lifted directly from Stephen R. Covey's work.
Would be willing to bet that he's got a good bit of plagiarism going in addition to the background fraud.
He should have read more of Covey's work.
Covey predicts these sorts of results from such behavior.
It's the cornerstone of his doctrine.
The irony is beautiful.

The Hillar documents
Here they are, note the date on the FOIA from USASOC, bill hillar thats United States Army Special Operations Command. And guess what Bill hillar, they have no record of you? Funny that.
The other one is from the NPRC, The National Personnel Records Center, Military Personnel Records (NPRC-MPR) is the repository of millions of military personnel, health, ...
Guess what william g hillar they do have a record of you!!!!!
But it's for an RD3, I think that a Coast Guard "radarman". But bill we all know that almost the same thing as a Special Forces COLONEL!

The breadth and extent of the deception, and the numbers of agencies buying it is baffling to me. That not one person in the crowd at all of these "trainings" and "seminars" called BS is a testament to how easy it is for the average person to not know. Thanks to PS.com for the hard work in setting the ship right.
I guess it goes to show you, in the last 20 something years of my life, I have ran into several people who flout their special operations experience from NAVSPECWAR to Army to Air Force, etc. Not a single one was what they claimed to be, not one. My favorite guy was the fake SEAL who essentially used the plot of "Under Seige" as his bio.
The only real BTDT's I have ever met, and they are very few, were people I had known for many years and who had never mentioned a single thing. Then, one day it would be something like a shadow box on a shelf I noticed or something similar. Like the QP who had a Vietnam era airborne tab with his jump wings and a 19th beret flash in a shadow box along with his Eagle Scout award sitting on the mantle in his humble home. When I casually asked him about it, he just said "Yeah, that was a long time ago. It was fun to jump from planes, and I went overseas a couple times, but it was no big deal." And that was it. I never asked him about it again, and it never came up in conversation again.
For every decent true veteran, there seems to be hundreds if not thousand of those who would claim his or her glory unjustly. 'Nuff said.

Well, now that...................
Well, now that this site and individuals have slandered the good Col's name and reputation I'm sure he'll be along shortly to set us straight.
I'm sure he'll be cleared hot the minute he signs up.

Had one of those types come into the club where I was working security.
Flashed his military ID (turned 21 that day) and made sure to let us know that it didn't reflect all of his "special" training.
He became a problem within 30 minutes, and instigated his "posse" into an even larger problem.
We had to deal with him; he ended up unconscious, came up swinging, ended up unconscious again, came up swinging again, met my car head first (leaving a small dent ), lost a few teeth, and was ultimately arrested/released over the matter.
Discussing it with the staff afterward, we concluded that he needed to go get some more of that "special" training.

TS, you may have already done so but I emailed the educational est. asking them to have Hillar remove his falsified resume.
Provided the background info and the FOIA docs. Who knows how much else in his resume is bogus?
