I am sure the Glu-wein (Spelling? 10th Group AO help!?!) I just imbibed at our Abu Dhabi X-mas party has something to do with my inability to stop laughing, but this has got to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I suppose they have never heard of the basic marksmanship principle commonly known as cant?

You got the glue wein correct. Its hard to type an umlaut. I'm wondering if the 10th still has the fantastic Christmas parties that we had in my day. The medics made the punch with generous amounts of 180 proof. Its the only time you will l see so many SF dudes around the punch bowl.

Actually, I will take a .338 Lapua and really have fun, more accurate and easier to fire more rounds. No dust clouds to screw up follow on shots and my spotter won't hate me after each shot.

A Cautionary Note...
Somalis couldn't shoot for beans when i got there in December of 1992...they still couldn't shoot when i left in March of 1993...by October of 1993, they had apparently been through some rigorous BMT (old term?) and were rather effective...

Darwin in effect.
Those who survived were primarily those who could use cover, and shoot straight.
The others got planted. You were dealing with the survivors.
