The Sergeant Major

At a pentagon ball, a crusty old sergeant major is appoached by a beautiful, fresh out of college, idealistic young reporter.

"excuse me seargenat major", she asked, "but could i ask you some questions about your military career?"

"yes, ma'am" replied the sergeant major

"no offense seargeant major...but why are you so uptight?" she asked him

"im just a serious person, ma'am. always have been, always will be."

to which she responded "well dont take this the wrong way sergeant major, but when was the last time you had sex?"

"1955, ma'am"

"my god!" she exclaimed, "1955? thats a long time to have gone with out sex...maybe you could use some relaxation"
she led him into a back room where she proceeded to "relax" him several times. when they were finshed she said
"wow sergeant major...you sure havnt forgotten much since 1955!"

the sergeant major looked at his watch and replied
"i hope not...its only 22:16!"
