Martin Pebler
Martin "Marty" Pebler passed away on May 27, 2009. He is survived by his wife Sandy Pebler of Boston, Massachusetts, his father Dr. Alfred Pebler of Frankfurt, Germany, his brother Andreas Pebler of Munich, Germany, his stepbrother Peter Pebler of El Cerrito, California and his stepsister Heidi Leibovich of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his mother Marianne Seekircher. He also leaves behind many close friends in the Colorado Springs area, as well as many others throughout the United States and abroad. Martin was a medic and demolitions specialist in the army, retiring from Special Forces and also serving on Delta Force. He traveled through many countries for business and pleasure, making friends wherever he went. He was a social activist and was known for his quick wit and intellect. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Memorial was held on June 8, 2009, at the All Souls Unitarian Church in Colorado Springs. A Spreading of the Ashes is scheduled for July 11, 2009, in the Pikes Peak region. Anyone interested in attending the ceremony should contact Sandy Pebler at
