Maybe difficult to imagine for regular folks, but for the creatures of DC this is business as usual. Even without the Presidency, DJT as a businessman has people gunning for him.

In regards to the health of the Republic, I think all one must do is look at the on going shit show at the Kavenaugh hearings to get a reading on the health of the nation.
In regards to preserving our democratic institutions.........saving the run amok institutions like the EPA, Dept of Ed, TSA, DOJ, FBI, CIA which offer safe haven to many, many useless and harmful bureaucrats.
IMO, PDJT is the least of out worries.
