There is no need for destroying the farms before expropriation. The new owners will do that in days, just as they have on 90% of land given to them in the restitution programme where the government has bought land and given it to claimants.
Animals are left unfed until they eat their pen-mates or simply die of thirst and malnutrition. This has happened on farms given to government cabinet ministers.
Imagine what the common or garden native will do with his new-found riches?
