As a prior Drill Sergeant I can tell you he was 'Separated for the Good of the Service/Army' which is an expedited not contest release.
IOTW, he was such a shit bird they just wanted him gone so that he would not influence/infect the other trainee's. He was an impediment to training and good order.
That or he is slightly mental.....it is easy to pick out the slightly insane when a little pressure is applied.
