He is not the only one that seams to be conflicted with their service. Went to a VFW the other day and ran into a guy with all kinds of Vietnam Ranger/SF stuff but he was only in his 40s. The regulars introduced us and we immediately wanted to beat him down for complete fraud. After lengthy interrogation he admitted to us he never served and that he had been a member for years. We paid and left. The president came out and asked what was wrong and we told him the guy was a fraud. He was dumbfounded. Then he said he was a great guy and told him great but he is a fake and a dishonorable person.
Guess this is why I do not join the VFW or AL....
