FRAGO to I'll Volunteer
I've looked at the packet. And see a couple problems besides my screename(I don't know how to change that). I won't be able to get a physical in time for 8 Jan, but I'm willing to do the SFRE to see where I stand. I'll be on leave but it sounds like good PT, lol. Also, do I mail the packet to you guys or should I fax or...Let me know. I wasn't looking at going back(April 02) to selection just yet but it sounds like a plan. I don't have orders yet to my next unit and if this doesn't work out I have another unit I've been eyeballing for years, now I meet the requirements. Almost out of here!!! Woohoo!
Have a good one, cheers Chris |
I suggest you get in touch with Sandytroop. He's been looking for a home NG-SF. But he's an E-8. FYI, you would be a fool not to consider him. 18C with a couple of languages on his CV.

Are you trying out for North or South? If North, email it back to me and I'll hand carry the packet. If South, call the SFC who's listed on the flyer for South and ask him.
I'm sure you know the deal, but make copies of your packet just in case. |
18C4V,
Are there any opportunities for OCS canidates who want to join SF? How long is the training pipeline for officers? 18C4V, I have also read some of your posts about you being in law enforcement, is this correct? Because, I also want to pursuing a career in law enforcement, and I was just wondering how your local agency handles your training and deployment committments? |

I retired from the Albuquerque Police Dept last December. I found that most agencies are supportive of Reserve/Guard personnel, for the most part. They can't screw with you too much, due to federal law. |
18C4V is also a LEO BTW.

Guardguy,
Check the 20th Group forum for my questions on this topic - I received some very thoughtful answers. Also feel free to PM me if I can help out with any other info, we are on a similar path. |
Guardguy,
PM sent. Good luck |
Contacting a Recruiter
Hello, I need help getting in contact with a SFC Jewel. He recruits for West Virginia University and the West Virginia area in general. If anyone can give me his cell phone number or a number in general for the office (the website link is down) I would appriciate it.
Thank you, Robertson |
Can you guarantee a HALO slot to an 18C SSG?
Would be looking for Northern CA Thanks |

The MFF team already has two 18C's. You might want to try another company. |
