White House Aide Involved in Prostitution Scandal Now Works in Office on Global Women's Issues

The White House had information two years ago indicating that one of their advance travel volunteers, the son of a major Democratic donor with ties to the White House, was involved in the Secret Service prostitution scandal. That former aide now works for the State Department's Office on Global Women's Issues. State recommends a "zero-tolerance" government policy on prostitution even when, as in this case, it is legal in the country in question.

The Washington Post published a blockbuster story Wednesday night which alleges that 25-year-old Jonathan Dach, a White House volunteer working on the advance travel team for the President's trip to Cartagena, Columbia, had a prostitute in his room. Dach is the son of Leslie Dach, a lobbyist who has donated large sums to elect Democrats and who also worked with the First Lady on her "Let's Move" campaign.

The Post also reports there is some indication of a possible cover up. David Nieland, the lead investigator for the Department of Homeland Security, later told Senate staffers he had been pressured by his supervisor to "alter certain information in the report of investigation because it was potentially embarrassing to the administration." In addition, the Post reports that Nieland said, "We were directed at the time . . . to delay the report of the investigation until after the 2012 election."

Hey, he was conducting research for his future job.

What they did was not illegal, but to punish the guys who would take a bullet for you, while excusing (and obstructing the investigation of) the one whose father wrote you a big check is so reprehensible as to defy belief.

I don't mind if Jonathan Dach was being anally abused by a prostitute. I mind that it was covered up and that he's now working at the State Dept on women's affairs........

Why the surprise?

It's the Democrat party. This is one of my pet peeves. Years ago, during the Clinton administration, a GOP PAC made a wonderful (from a Psyop perspective) TV ad that featured a headline containing "Democrat Party" that zoomed in until only "rat Party" was all that visible at the end. The Democrats got their panties in a wad and started referring to themselves as the Democratic Party to keep this from happening again. And like dutiful minions, the mainstream media joined in. Do they call themselves Democratics? No they still say that they are Democrats. Just another butchering of the English language to achieve a political outcome. Republican and Democrat are nouns and Democratic is an adjective. /rant off.

It's known little Jonny had a girl stay overnight with him in Colombia; he had to sign her into the hotel. The question is if he paid or not. I'm guessing the Napoleon Dynamite lookalike had to pay.
