Unit Commendation

One of my Soldiers was in 7th GP for deployments to Afghanistan from 2008-2009 and 2009-2010. He worked in the "Joint Visitor Bureau", and as a part of the GP CMD & CSM PSD. His ERB shows the JMUA his organization was awarded during this time, but he has none of the supporting documentation. We're trying to get his packet together for the SFC board this year. Can anyone help me run down the paperwork for this? He tracked down an order number of 2010-08. He suspects that the Joint Manning Document is at CJSOTF-A HQ.

You might try here, but I didn't find anything on "Joint Visitor Bureau" :D

I found several 7th SF in the 2008 folder.

HRC's award page should have a record of all unit awards. It would be under "previously approved" or "recently approved".

The Joint Visitors Bureau is an element found at CJSOTF level and above headquarters, but not below. They track and make coordination for all VIP visits. If he was with 7th SFG in AFG and was assigned there, he would be JMUA eligible (if they got one that year).

Thanks for the help. On HRC's website I found an excel spreadsheet that linked me to order # 2010-09. CJSOTF-A has it from 2 November 2007 to 1 February 2009.
