MSG Merle, Ron 7th SFG 83'-99'
In an effort to notify anybody else out there that may have known my father.
Unfortunately I only keep up with a few of his old team guys, and I figured this was my best bet to get the word out beyond my contacts. ...Until we meet again dad... http://www.roanoke.com/obituaries/me...071ea1d8a.html |

Middlecreek,
I remember your Dad, he was a senior guy compared to me at the time. I did not know him well obviously (he would have no idea who I was) but remember him on a jump because he looked like a squared away dude, you know, what you expect a Green Beret to look like and act like...competent. I'm very sorry for your loss. |
RIP Brother!

To echo Hacksaw, your Dad was the epitome of what a Green Beret should be. He evaluated my team back in the '80s and his standards were high. My prayers are with you and your family.
