Interesting numbers.
It would be nice to see a rebuke of communism as a longterm trend...an excerpt below from the link above... "The traditional main right-wing party the Civic Democrats enjoyed a resurrection after some fallow years, climbing from 7.7 percent in 2013 to 11.3 percent this time out. The Communists, who took 14.9 percent in 2013, saw a falloff in support, picking up 7.8 percent. The major losers on a dramatic day for Czech politics were the leaders of the outgoing government the Social Democrats, who saw their support nosedive from 20.45 percent in 2013 to 7.3 percent." |
As in Washington, and so it goes...
Commie: "I'm outta here."
90+ percent of Czech people: "Don't let the door hit you in the ass." :D Quote:

It is quite a surprising result indeed. Ironically I was in Czech republic 5 weeks before the elections. Spoke with some people about local politics, met no one supporting Babiš, only critisizm and disbelieve, no one imagined this result of election I guess. Czech is doing well as far as I noticed, it gives an image of a well treated by the government country. This apartment is typical for Czech young families, though in the center of Prague there are amazing castles, I gues Andrej Babiš lives in one of them
