Richard "The POW" Davis. Fake Green Beret
5 Attachment(s)
Here we present Richard Jay Davis.
He was sent to us by a fellow member of the Marine Corps League he belonged to. Richard was in the local paper as being in Special Forces during Vietnam and also being a POW. Richard claimed Airborne, Ranger, SF, Purple Heart, 2 CIBs, and that he was a 68 day POW before he escaped. One look at his picture and we knew he was a turd. We tried to contact him a number of times and finally made contact. The link to his interview can be found here: https://youtu.be/tLwGzpnUZzw After this interview, we hard told he quit the marine Corps League. It's been pointed out that Campbell did indeed offer an Airborne course during that time. We knew that. A number of places did. He could have corrected us had he also known. It was also possible to become SFQ'd a number of ways back in that era. We don't want to write a where, what, when for these turds to further their lie. |

As a deserter, doesn't he lose all awards and specialty school ratings?? |
His two records do not seem to match up.....unit supply=CIB? What unit?
|
Do you have any idea how hard you have to work to spend five years in the Army and get out as a PVT, E-1? That took a lot of effort!
|
I'm wondering if his buddy in admin. issued him a CIB? That would not be a first especially with the thousands of orders being processed in RVN daily.
