I am curious what happens if, for whatever reason, a Socialist Party wins a national election how would that impact those of us who have taken an Oath to The US Constitution. What obligations/duties if any, would the US Military have to any Socialist Party that gets voted in? The phrase "All Enemies, Foreign and Domestic." comes to mind. Who or What makes that call and When. Hopefully, I'm guessing that Cuba, China Vlad would be happy to send some "advisors" to help. That pesky "transition thing":rolleyes:

For a lot of folks working in the interest of Socialist, Communist or Marxist administration would be no different than working for a Republican or Democrat administration. The standard of 'All enemies, foreign and domestic' seems to change with each changing of the guard in DC.

A socialist communist government already was president. Our Constitution survived this round, barely.

miclo18 is spot-on. You are wondering "when" the socialists gain control...?? Look around, the halls of congress are filled with them - in BOTH parties, but they appear to have max-density within the ranks of the democrats.

I - and others - think it's already over. it's just a matter of time before we succumb to the weight of the parasites being placed upon both the body politic and the average citizen.

We dodged the final nail in the coffin when the succubus lost the presidential election. However, I am not sure we can get our republic back; the enemy is far too dug in; far too treacherous; far too committed to their cause to go quietly.

My wife asked me where my personal breakpoint is a few years ago. I replied "when they knock on my door demanding my guns."

It will definitely be too late at that point which is why I've written a couple of books and jump on any soapbox I can find to portray the evils inflicted upon us. But that would be the final outrage. I choose not to live in a country that betrays its fundamental ideals. I just hope that when it all goes to crap, my kids are out of the house and well established on their own. I will not go quietly into that darkness.

As stated above it would start with the police, but you would know the absolute time to make a choice would be when the military is ordered to confiscate guns or conduct actions on citizens within the United States proper. It would be one hell of a fight, lots of places to hide if your comfortable in the woods. Have junk guns for them to confiscate and have your good stuff cached close to the house better to live to fight another day on your terms. (still shooters choice)

So what you are asking is what would we do if a guy like 0bama was elected president and then appointed people like hiLlary as SOS, a guy like eRic h0lder to be in charge of the Just-us department, and maybe someone like su$an r1ce as the national security advisor...
...and the white house Christmas tree was decorated with images of Mao Zedong?


I think we would watch our social culture degrade over the course of the administration to the point that future political opponents would be met with and threatened with violence openly and proudly in ways that would be praised and championed in most of the national media outlets

Otherwise, I think we would be ok

Bourbon has a much longer half-life than beer, has a better alcohol to volume ratio (so it's more efficient to store). and is not as sensitive in fluctuations of temperature.

If any kind domestic revolt happened you can bet Russia and other powers would intervene. By my guess I would say at least half the military and federal forces would desert as well. I'm more worried about changing demographics, Texas turning purple or permanently blue, i.e. Calirfornia, same with Florida as well. If Texas and Florida become permanent blue states you can kiss any kind of Republican POTUS in the near future goodbye.

As with the French Revolution, complete with HRC as Madame LeFarge, the tipping point always comes when the military decides who they will face and who they will protect.

1st. Who controls the nuclear subs at sea.? The Captain, and do you really believe he needs a code from the POTUS to launch the TRIDENT'S with the (MIRV) 16 on each Ohio Class. The boats can carry 24 Trident ii missiles. The U S NAVY claims it has 18 OHIO class subs of which 14 are Tridents each carrying 24 SLBMs. A single missile could destroy North Korea. Doing the math anyone of the Boats Captains could probably destroy the world with the newest D5 missile.SO, don't worry about anyone coming to your house to collect your small arms .worry about the captains and the crew aboard the deployed boats.

The only way Texas “goes blue” is if they let every illegal immigrant with a utility bill vote, which I’m afraid is in play. It’s being pumped out on FM radio, that’s all you need apparently. I think Beto getting elected in Texas would be the beginning to the end. Beans and Bullets then. YMMV

Back in the 70's, Pornography was a "hot topic". Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart was asked what is pornography? Justice Stewart's reply was " I can't tell you what it is but, I know it when I see it." That works for me. In my limited experience, it is somewhat akin to looking at a modern art, or abstract painting. Artists use color, brush strokes etc. Folks in "other professions" use Indicators & Warnings, trends, etc. in attempts to "paint an accurate picture" for policymakers/Operators The problem and the answer are one in the same, People! From a national level decision-making process, down to individuals, we bring as many variables/colors as possible into the equation for what is always a binary choice. Yes, no, up, down, left, right etc.
