Ad Astra review

https://www.foxnews.com/science/brad...-nasa-engineer

Took my 82 year old Dad to see this movie today, and wanted to review it here because it has military ties. Went to an IMAX theater, which is wow! The sound and picture quality were amazing. (have not been in eons...)

I hate Hollywood, but this film had a decent plot and incredible images from space.

But it was the military component that took me off guard. It is set in the future, and maybe if Space Command enlists real SOF guys, this could be a reality.:lifter

I enjoyed it overall because of the way the writers wrote in a balls to the wall military main character, and his never give up attitude.

And the mission, well, I wont spoil it. It's a son and father thing.

Just in case you have a free two hours...I recommend it.

Thanks for the review Holly. I have been wondering if the movie was really worth going to see or not. I just might have to drop “a few” bucks and go to a theater to see it......or may wait for it “on demand”.

Again thanks for the review

Swoop,

Am glad you found my review useful. :)

Can say that I am not a movie theater person, haha, but enjoyed the re-enactments on-screen of very far up in the sky parachute jumps.

If you can, its worth it to go.
