At SOAR 2004, I was standing in the reception area before the "Banquet". I hear this rather distinct voice behind me, and when I turn around, there stood Ross!!! I introduced myself and he talked with me like I was an old friend. He is really, good people!!

Met him at ceremonies several times, very approachable, and down to earth.

For those who don't know it, the statues on Ft. Bragg of Bull Simons and Dick Meadows were largely paid for and put there by Ross Perot. He is a major sponsor of the SOWF as well.
