We had homes in ABQ, and Santa Fe, plus the homes in Iowa.

ABQ is sold, the large primary house in Iowa City is on the market, and we have effectively moved into my townhouse (I C). I purchased a nice townhouse in 99, 2500 sq ft on one level. We recently upgraded it, cherry floors, granite entry way, countertops, etc, etc. Then the unit directly below mine went on the market, we bought it the next day, fixed it up, granite, hardwood floors and so on.

I put interconnecting doors between the two units, and Viola, we have a 5000 sq ft townhouse where someone else cuts the grass, and shovels the snow.

I will try to find pic's.

Bill:

Just want you to know that we have a room for you, Iowa City, or Santa Fe.

You would probably enjoy Santa Fe, more than Iowa.

I would love to have an 'endless pool' like you had in your home, Cpt.

(Beautiful, btw !)

Unknown to me. Someone sent it to me when I needed an avatar on another site. It was the right size, and as I am fairly inept w/computer technology, I just went with it.

Our Santa Fe home is also on the market.

What Flight School class were you in?

After I was medevacced out of VN (Nov 66) I was a gunnery IP at Rucker, grew tired of it, and called DA and requesting a Cobra transition, and reassignment back to VN.

I was in 67-13, 4th WOC Green Hats. Flew UH-1H in SE Asia and some UH-1C. I didn't start flying Cobra till after VN.
I also flew H-13, H-23, OH-58, UH-60, T-41, T-42, C-12 and C-26. SIP in most of that stuff accept fixed wing. Never flew CH-47s.

spent most of my time in...HAATS.

Total hijack, but I think HAATS was some of the best pilot-shit training I've ever received. Sorry to hear about CW5 Moore...

And I can't tell from the small pic (I'll be needing glasses soon, methinks), but is Dana Slade, Realtor® hot, or not?

Mike Moore and I were among the people who started the HATS (now HAATS). Mike became the School SIP after I retired from there. You are right, it is outstanding training and if the pilots over in South West Asia would have this training, there would be allot less accidents. Mother Rucker would have to admit they don't know it all, but they would never do that.
