Bill, that was really good year for me and that's in a big part thanks to you my friend. I'd even say that thanks to you the BLADE this year was one of the best event of my life (yes, my wife is aware of that fact). What else shall I say... Bill, I hope that 2006 will be good for you. Both very personally and knifemaking-wise of course. And just for you my five favorite pictures of your stuff taken this year (or at least I like them the most). Thanks for everything Bill!

Here, here.

Hope that your next year is even bigger and better, Bill.

Thanks for your friendship, your tremendous support of us and our brothers in arms, and your generous contribution of your time to this board.

Can I hop on this bandwagon too? One should always remember their friends, especially to wish them auspicious beginnings to a New Year. :lifter ('cause we all know you earned it with "the sweat of your brow!") Peregrino

:::Limping toward the bandwagon at a pretty good clip:::

Yay for Mr. Harsey! For providing some of us in this world with excellent tools, excellent wisdom, and excellent friendship. And for making me laugh LOTS with all his good stories.

Wishing all the best in 2006.

Jumping too. It has been a honor to meet everyone on this forum. Wishing everyone a wonderful New Year.

Bill it has been a pleasure to read your comments. I have always loved a good knife but never completely understood how ignorant I was about them.

Mr. H, I've said it privately so I'll say it publicly. You are a treasure and it's an honor to get to "hang" with you. ;) All the best to you in 2006 and always.

Professor Harsey,
you practice what you preach.....teaching those of us that want the education, making instruments with performance, perfection and the ultimate edge....enough to operate in the field with. It is a priviledge to know you and utilize your creations. I look forward to the next Harsey creation for personal use.
Happy New Year.

To all, this is a little humbling trying to live up to the kind words.

Thank you very much.

Well Mr. Harsey I wanted to post MY favorite picture of your fine knife designs. Mine [Yarborough] is 1799 and was put "on lay-away" at my Sage graduation 22Aug03 and was reunited with me at my SERE graduation a few months later... dang SWCS tricks.

I'm proud to be a member of the Special Forces brotherhood and was honored to be bestowed the latest symbol of the men who don the green beret. "Thank you" to yourself and Mr. Reeves for the design and production of such a worthy combat knife!

And it is not only to the members of this board... my son carries a very special momento of his 19th birthday thanks to you Bill.

The cool thing about all this is that you have nothing to "live up to"...except for being yourself.

We like ya just the way you are:D

Thank you for all that you've done and do, Mr Harsey! Also, for putting a smile on FS. You two make me happy.

The Lady of the Lake presented the works of an Avalonian elf smith to King Arthur, a sword like no other, known as Excalibur.....

May the New Year be prosperous for the "Avalonian elf smith" responsible for the presentation of.... a knife like no other, known as the Yarborough.

And may the Yarborough serve those who have earned the right to possess it...as Excalibur served King Arthur.

You know, I suspect that Mr. Harsey has been called many things in his years, but probably never an elf before.:D
