just an up-to-date thread.

I havn't been able to lurk, much less post, as much as I usually like to, but not because of another deployment as is common by many other members here. I was DA Selected for Recruiter School a few earlier this year and graduate the 7 week course tomarrow. Today, with 21 months TIS, I was laterally promoted from Specialist to Corporal, so I am one of the newest members of the US Army's Non Commissioned Officer Corps. Also Known As the backbone of the Army, and yes, I dropped into the front leaning rest and knocked some out for the Sergeant Major who pinned me and the 120 or so NCO's in the auditorium.

I'll report to the Pittsburgh Battalion in mid Feburary.
