But they're made in Pakistan... and as we all know, that country has nothing to do with Islam.

"Mecca has been around way before 9/11. It really has nothing to do with Islam, terrorism and all of that crap," insisted Matthew Sprague, the director of Mecca USA, in an interview with Cybercast News Service.

"and all that crap"? WTF? He needs a beatin'

I find this quote really interesting - If our customers want something, we make every effort we can to provide them with whatever it is they are looking for or want. If it sells, it is our responsibility to provide it," Anstey said. - Try asking for a pistol or rifle at any PX an see if they will get it for you. The PX on Fort Bragg says no to that request.

Now I will admit that I have not been to the PX to buy since they removed the "really bad items" from the shelves, but I do not think they have changed policy to getting what a lot of soldiers did buy.

Of course I see dear old Paris is still just as stupid and obnoxious as ever.

I'm with NDD. What's next, "cocaine" t-shirts from some south american country being sold in the PX's?

My Google-Fu is weak this morning, I couldn't find the source of the "since day one" thing in the name of this extra special clothing line.

Anyone know what it refers to?

Bill - It is in the news thing. Quote - The slogan "Since Day One" simply means that Mecca clothes "were one of the first brands since day one to come out with urban hip-hop clothing," Sprague added. -

It smacks of BS to me, Day one to the Muslim is like year 7 hundred something, just to damed don't give a damed about finding the exact day, and is hardly day one for anything.

I have stayed out of the fray with AAFES since they declined my request to remove the Malcolm X material, since he advocated the violent overthrow of the US Government.

Last I heard, the Marines still sold handguns as well as long guns in their exchanges.

Bragg cleared the firearms and all ammo out after the Installation Commander required it in the wake of the PT shootings a few years back.

Wouldn't want those soldiers to be practicing on their time what the Army should be teaching them at work.
