For those of us who live in blue states that don't respect a citizen's right to protect themselves and for those of you who do carry and want to when visiting other states there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

The House of Representatives has intorduced the Secure access to fireamrs enhancement act. What it does is modifiy the US code in a way that forces non-CCW states to recognize the CCW permit of other states.

I have no doubt that it will pass the house but wonder if it has any chance of getting by in the Senate. There will be extraordinary pressure brought against the RINO's in the Senate by the anti's and the southern Dems will face tremedous pressure to vote in favor.

It would be nice to load the family in the car and drive accross country without having to worry about ending up in jail.

Awesome. Oregon and Washinton State don't currently have reciprocity (or rather, Oregon doesn't recognize a Washington CCW, but Washington recognizes an Oregon CCW). This would make my life a lot easier.
