01.11.05: Bundeswehr: Anti-Terror-Mandat soll um ein Jahr verlängert werden. In der kommenden Woche soll der Bundestag das Mandat für den Anti-Terror-Einsatz der Bundeswehr um ein weiteres Jahr verlängern. Die Bundeswehr stellt für den internationalen Einsatz bis zu 3 100 Soldaten zur Verfügung. Darunter sind auch Soldaten des Kommandos Spezialkräfte (KSK), die zeitweise in Afghanistan eingesetzt waren. Am Horn von Afrika ist die Deutsche Marine zur Zeit mit einer Fregatte im Einsatz. Ein Lazarettflugzeug der Bundeswehr wird ständig in Bereitschaft gehalten, um Schwerverletzte aus Krisengebieten auszufliegen.
Bundeswehr: Anti-Terror Mandate to be extended a year. In the coming weeks the Federal parliament is expected to extend the mandate for anti-terror actions by the Bundeswehr for another year. The Bundeswehr has placed up to 3,100 soldiers at disposal for international actions. This also includes soldiers from the Special Forces Command (KSK), who are currently deployed in Afghanistan. The German navy is currently in action in the Horn of Africa with a frigate. A Bundeswehr medical aircraft will be placed on standby to fly seriously wounded persons out of crisis areas.
