My guys had just been on target with SSG Harper a couple nights prior to his death and although they did not know him but briefly-they spoke highly of him and were hit hard by his death. The Camp Prosperity chapel where the memorial was held was standing room only-Iraqi, US and some of our other coalition partners-a fitting tribute to SSG Harper.

RIP.
