Hey boys and girls ... BK Sain here.
ALL safe down here in Cajun country.
We are just plain exhausted with no end in sight. Lots of carnage and work to go around. My place sustained some damage but nothing too major. 5 of my guys lost everything.
I have been tasked with supplying every individual officer with whatever they need personally. There are a lot of troops (Texas Guard) and a myriad of cops here.
I kinda need a favor ...
I need decent condition BDUs bad. Any military color/camo. All sizes. Every pair I can get. Uniform policy for us cops has been pretty relaxed. Uniformity is a low priority right now and the guys/gals need pants. BDUs are allowed but they need to be presentable. Heat index 113 lately ...
I also need a good POC for MREs. We have already depleted our stock.

BK - Cleaned the closets (again), box inbound. It should be there Wed-Thu next week if UPS can get through on schedule. Glad to hear you came through OK. Didn't holler earlier because I figured you were probably swamped w/work and wouldn't be sticking your head up until things stabilized. Keep safe - Peregrino
Brian:
I copied what Peregrino did and came up with 4 pair of BDU's for you. I'll get them shipped from UPS on Monday.
Good luck!!!

Hey you guys are the best. Thanks.
We have close to 3000 first responders here and I am assigned to see to each of their personal equipment/supply needs. BDU PANTS are the biggest asked for item. Do not need the blouse here in Tejas.
Roofing nails are everywhere ... PD unit tires looked like porcupines there for a few days. lol
Mark Furman showed up and went looter hunting with our entry guys.
Seems like a decent fellow.
We didn't invite Geraldo ...
Best to all of you here at PS.com. Thanks again Peregrino.

Mr. Sain,
I have two BDU pants for you. No damage, just minor stain from logging, roofing, gutter-cleaning, and bunny-house-rebuilding works in Louisiana.
The zip code is registered as "Indefinitely Suspended"

I'll check with the UPS associate in the UPS store and see what we can do.
Brian,
Box sent out to you today, at the 7700 Memorial address.
I tried the UPS store as well, and got the same answer as frostfire. Went over to the good 'ole US Post Office and they said that zip code was good to go for delivery, priority mail.

Thanks vsvo.
USPS personnel told me they have no zip code restrictions for Texas, only Louisiana and Missisipi.
Box out via priority mail to the 2929 Jimmy Johnson Blvd. address.
Stay safe out there, Mr. Sain

The question was for Brian...
Take care.
Brian:
Got the box shipped today from UPS. The computers at UPS won't print the label since there's a flag on the Port Arthur zip code, so a driver had me fill out a hand-written label and he put the box on his truck...
He said if everything went right (trucks can get to your location) it should get there on Thurs. or Fri.
I have neither BDU's nor a POC fr MRE's, but I have a cheque book if that helps? PM details, contribution will be sent.

Hello friends ... apologies for the slow reply here. Forgot to subscribe to the thread.
Have been crazy busy but it looks like things are returning to normal.
We have had two shootings in as many days so everything is getting right with the world again ... lol
Thanks for all packages, prayers and well wishes.
The eye of this thing pretty much hit right where my home is:
Click the link at the bottom of this email.
Let it load and it will self shrink.
Locate the square dirt field at the bottom of the page in the shrunk view.
Blow it up again and find the subdivision to the immediate right of the dirt field (bottom of the page).
Third street up from the bottom street in the subdivision.
Third house over (right) from the corner, top side of the street, with the long black section (tar paper) of shingles missing (BKs crib).
Notice the three houses to the left of my street corner (beside school) which are totally destroyed and the one on the bottom street (right) which was obliterated. There are several homes in there that are destroyed but not visible from the air.
Tornadoes.
Close call for us ...
